Our Story

A Kitchen Built
on Tradition

MJ's Korean Kitchen grew from a simple, heartfelt belief: that the food you grew up loving deserves to be shared. Founded by Minjin, MJ's Korean Kitchen started as a dine-in kitchen at the Bountiful Farmers' Market in Edmonton — and has since grown to a second home at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market, open Saturday 8 am – 3 pm and Sunday 11 am – 3 pm. Pickup and delivery orders are available through our Bountiful kitchen.

Every dish starts with time-honoured recipes — slow-fermented kimchi, tender bulgogi marinated just right, and hearty bibimbap assembled with care. We source fresh, quality ingredients from the market around us, so every bite reflects the season.

Whether you're a longtime Korean food lover or trying it for the first time, you're welcome at Minjin's table. Edmonton, this one's for you.
